Before we take your local phone service order, you need to know some important points:

 - In many areas, local phone service provided by TELUS is unregulated,
   that is, the terms and conditions are no longer regulated by the
   Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (the
   "CRTC").
   
 - In these areas, your use of TELUS local phone service is subject to
   the TELUS Local Telephone Service Terms (Unregulated) available for
   your review at: http://about.telus.com/publicpolicy/ls/terms.html
   
 - If you are ordering local phone service in an unregulated area, a
   copy of these service terms will also be sent to you.  Please read
   them carefully. Your continued use of the service after you receive
   them will mean that you have accepted them. 
   
 - Until then, in the unlikely event that your phone service is disrupted
   in any way, for instance as a result of maintenance activity or a
   transmission line cut, TELUS' liability, including for negligence, is
   limited to your cost for the service.
